Commercial Interior Design
Commercial interiors designed around the way the business needs to function, sell, and operate day to day.
Each project begins by translating the client’s goals, workflow, customer experience, brand requirements, operational constraints, and site conditions into a coordinated interior plan. Layout, circulation, display strategy, storage, accessibility, materials, lighting, fixtures, and installation requirements are developed together so the finished environment works as a complete system.
For the client, that means fewer disconnects between design intent and execution. Decisions are resolved earlier, conflicts are identified before construction, and the space is developed with a clearer understanding of cost, fabrication, installation, and long-term use.
The result is a commercial environment that is easier to approve, easier to build, and better aligned with how staff and customers actually use the space—from initial design brief through final installation.

Custom Motorcycle Paint and Fabrication
True Kustom, 2004–2016 — Award winning custom paint, fabrication, and a parts catalog sold internationally.
Custom Motorcycle Paint and Fabrication
True Kustom was built around clients who wanted more than a cosmetic modification. Each project combined custom paint, fabrication, electrical integration, lighting, and component design into a complete finished motorcycle.
From 2004–2016, the business grew from a one-person custom paint operation into an award-winning fabrication and parts company with products sold internationally. The work included high-end custom finishes, fiberglass fabrication, electrical systems, integrated LED lighting, custom components, and production parts designed to fit cleanly and function reliably.
For the client, the value was having design, fabrication, and finish handled as one coordinated process. Instead of combining unrelated vendors and hoping the pieces worked together, the motorcycle was treated as a complete system from concept through final assembly.
That approach produced nationally recognized work, independent magazine coverage, television exposure, and long-term relationships with builders and manufacturers that continued well beyond the original True Kustom operation.

True Kustom, 2011–2016 — the brand and marketing system built around it: a self-built, first-page-ranked website, sustained social presence, and print collateral carried across every physical touchpoint.
Branding and Marketing Development
Branding and Marketing Development is the case study for how Josh built and sustained an independent brand end to end: the website, the social presence, the print collateral, and the physical presence that connected them all.
Josh built the truekustom.com website himself in WordPress starting in 2011 and got it to first-page search rankings, then ran the brand’s Facebook presence alongside it. He designed and produced the shop’s print collateral: banners, business cards, a grand-opening flyer, and trifold brochures.
That brand system was paired with sustained physical visibility: a high-exposure shop location, regular bike nights, bike shows, and a booth at major national events including Sturgis, reinforcing the same identity across every touchpoint, digital and physical.
The result: nationally recognized work, independent magazine coverage, a television appearance, and builder and vendor relationships including Klock Werks, built without an outside agency or a dedicated marketing budget.

Large-scale murals developed to turn blank or underused surfaces into memorable visual assets for businesses, communities, and public spaces.
Each project begins with the site, audience, purpose, and surrounding architecture. Composition, scale, viewing distance, color, brand alignment, surface conditions, access, and installation logistics are resolved before painting begins so the finished work feels integrated with the environment rather than added onto it.
For the client, the value is more than decoration. A well-designed mural can strengthen identity, create a recognizable landmark, improve the customer or visitor experience, and give a space a visual presence that conventional signage or wall finishes cannot achieve.
Projects have included commissioned commercial work, civic installations, and grant-funded public art, with each piece developed from concept through final hand-painted execution.

CAD-to-video walkthroughs — what’s approved on screen is what gets built.
Pre-Vis / Animation
Pre-visualization gives clients a clear way to review a space, product, or installation before construction begins.
Concepts are developed in CAD, translated into a navigable 3D environment, and presented as walkthrough video rather than relying only on plans or still renderings. This makes layout, materials, circulation, fixture placement, lighting, and overall spatial relationships easier to understand before money is committed to fabrication or buildout.
For the client, the benefit is faster approvals, fewer misunderstandings, and a more reliable handoff from concept to execution. Changes can be made while they are still digital and inexpensive, reducing the risk of field revisions, rework, or conflicting expectations.
The objective is simple: what is approved on screen should closely match what gets built.

Applied AI and automation — working pipelines, built and running in production.
AI Systems
Applied AI and automation designed to reduce repetitive work, improve information flow, and give people faster access to the data and decisions they need.
The work focuses on practical systems rather than isolated AI features: automated research, structured data collection, knowledge organization, reporting, document generation, workflow orchestration, and recurring business processes.
For the client, the value is operational leverage. Manual steps can be reduced or removed, information can move between systems automatically, and recurring work can be completed more consistently with less administrative overhead.
Examples include automated lead-generation pipelines, scheduled reporting, AI-assisted knowledge systems, and workflow automations that collect, process, organize, and deliver useful information without requiring the same work to be repeated manually.
The objective is not to replace professional judgment. It is to build reliable systems that give people better inputs, faster workflows, and more time for the work that actually requires human decisions.
