Challenge

A customer brought in a brand-new bike with an open brief for a full custom build — not a repair or refresh, a complete transformation.

Approach

Torn all the way down to the frame, then rebuilt with a full Pirates of the Caribbean theme airbrushed across the entire body — a turquoise-blue base with Captain Jack Sparrow-inspired imagery throughout. Full teardown-to-rebuild, not applied graphics over an existing paint job.

“A whole brand new bike got brought to me, we tore it all the way down to the frame and airbrushed the entire body of it with a Pirates of the Caribbean theme — turquoisey blue with pictures of Captain Jack and all kinds of stuff all over it.”

Result

Named by Josh alongside Predasaurus as one of the shop’s two signature, defining pieces. Several images in the curated set carry a photo credit from motorcycle photographer Michael Lichter — real third-party evidence of the shop’s industry reach.
