Spark Dispensary

Challenge

Convert an empty former bank building into a fully functioning dispensary retail floor in about four months — Josh’s second dispensary project ever, immediately following the Mana Supply Denver flagship. The shell had never been built for retail and had to support three distinct functional zones — Retail, Medical, and Merchandise — plus a differentiated deli display area.

Approach

The interior was fully measured and rebuilt in 3D CAD from the empty bank shell, dividing the floor into separate Retail, Medical, and Merchandise zones. Custom LED-lit floating glass shelving was purpose-built for the deli area — the standout fixture on the project. Beyond the fixture and space-planning work, Josh also designed Spark’s logo, still in use across all of Spark’s business assets today, making this a full-service engagement rather than fabrication alone.

Result

A complete retail buildout delivered inside the former bank space in roughly four months, April–August 2022. The relationship continued the referral chain that led directly into Elite Cannabis and the Xclusive overnight-flip work — a strong first engagement, done well and on time and with range beyond the immediate ask, is what turns a single job into a referral chain.
